Account & Order Information

You can always check on the status of your order in the “My Orders” page. If you still aren’t getting the information you want, shoot us a message in the chatbox and we’ll get back to you ASAP.

Federal regulation around medicine prevents us from accepting returns on our products. If you no longer need our products, please safely dispose of your medicines by: 1) mix them in unpalatable substances like coffee grounds or soil, 2) place the medicine and mixture in a container like a used compostable bag, 3) throw the bag in your household trash, and 4) recycle the bottle.

We get that unforeseen things happen, so we want to support you when they do. Let us know what went wrong and we’ll make sure we take care of the problem.

Piece of cake – just let us know your updated mailing address and we’ll take care of it for you. You can also manage it on your account page.

We know how frustrating it can be when something doesn’t come as expected, so we do all we can to help. Get in touch with our Cabinet Customer Care Team and we’ll get everything sorted.

Oops. We’ve all been there before and we’ll do everything we can to help. If we haven’t sent out your product yet, you’re all good – we can cancel and reimburse you. Unfortunately, if it’s been sent out, federal regulation around medicine prevents us from accepting returns on our products.

Please let our care team know about this as soon as you can, and they’ll send you the correct product. Don’t worry about sending us the incorrect product back -- that one’s on us.

Medicine Quality

Our medicines are sourced from ethical, world class manufacturers that have been audited by the FDA and our founders have known for a lifetime. Like 40% of the medicines Americans take every day, ours are made outside of the U.S. Most companies try to hide the fact that they’re made elsewhere by saying “distributed by the U.S.”. Not us though. We are as proud of “made in India” as we are our own family. After all, it is a family of sorts – our relationship with the people that make our medicine goes back three generations.

Cabinet is the first and only clean label medicine company which batch-level tests all medicine. Cabinet's quality assurance process radically increase patient safety, product efficacy, and reduces drug recalls. 100% of our products are verified safe, carcinogen free, and allergen free.

There is! All of the necessary batch information will be included on the bottle token and pouch; including the expiration dates, lot numbers and dosage instructions.

The highest quality. Every single batch. Did you know that there are 3 drug recalls every single day? Cabinet is the first health care company to conduct batch-level quality testing on every single product. 100% verified free of carcinogens, toxins, gluten, and other harmful substances.

We are OTC only - for now. We are also 100% verified gluten free! We actually have a special kit for those who are celiac or gluten sensitive if you’d like to check it out.

For celiacs and the gluten intolerant, we know how hard it is to find safe medications and products you can trust. Every single bottle is verified gluten free through an independent 3rd party lab. All products meet or exceed the less than 20 ppm (parts per million) gluten regulation set by the FDA. Cabinet is official partners with the Celiac Disease Foundation. We actually have a special kit for those who are celiac or gluten sensitive if you’d like to check it out.

Packaging

194B bottles of pharmaceutical medicine plastic bottles are created every single year. Only 3-5% of those are recycled, the rest of which go into oceans, landfills, and our ecosystems. Project Refill Pouch is dedicated to bringing fully compostable flexible films to medicine to minimize medicine's environmental impact.

Cabinet pouches are made out of 100% earth digestible materials - specifically wood cellulose and biomaterials. Our packaging is designed for commercial composting, and are significantly better for the environment than plastic alternatives. We are really excited for you to try them out and let us know what you think!

The caps are made out of plastic. We are currently exploring using a plant-based plastic for these so they can be recycled.

Cabinet pouches are made out of 100% earth digestible materials (compostable materials). Specifically, the pouches are actually made out of wood cellulose and biomaterials. The pouch is compostable in city compost piles and is in the process of being BPI certified.

The refill tokens are made out 100% recyclable tin.

Our new bottles are made of 100% recyclable highly durable glass that we've spent years perfecting for strength. We've performed hundreds of drop tests to make sure they aren't easily broken.

The glass is highly durable confirmed by hundreds of drop tests performed to ensure that the bottles are not easily broken.

Your initial order will be sent in one of our new glass bottles (we've spent years perfecting these for strength and durability!). Renewals of your order will be sent in a pouch made from compostable materials.

Cabinet’s color-coded caps are designed child resistant and organize even the messiest medicine cabinets.

The token is magic! Well not really. The token has a unique QR code printed on the back. Scan this token to give you medicine information and quick refills.

Yes, our packaging is designed to be commercial compostable. This is important so that our products stay stable in regular conditions but are earth digestible in the right, natural conditions. While they are only commercially compostable, they are still significantly better for landfills and oceans in the case that the materials get thrown in traditional waste streams. In that circumstance, it’s like throwing away an avocado peel in the trash of a leaf.

For plastic bottles, our team is working on a plastic bottle return program so that customers can properly dispose of their existing plastic and medicines. For compostability, we do not have a compostable program but a quick google search in cities is really helpful for finding the best programs nearby. Worst case, if you throw our compostable pouches in the trash, it's still better than plastic.

We don't sell empty bottles, however you can always repurpose the medicine bottles once you have used all the medicine!

Sustainability

There are both internally and externally driven reasons for why pharma hasn’t adopted sustainable solutions quickly, namely:

Internally Driven
i.Regulation & Safety
ii. Complex Supply Chain
iii. Cost of Change
Externally Driven
i. Environmental outweighing the health challenge
ii. Consumer demand
iii.New sustainable innovations

Cabinet is a B-Corp Certified company which means that we prioritize minimizing our carbon footprint, water waste, and other sustainability measures. As a certified B-Corp, we’re legally incorporated to share and advance our social good status.

More deeply, Cabinet looks at sustainability as a lifecycle. In other words we look at sustainability from every corner of our business. For Cabinet, our lifecycle is manufacturing, transportation, product, and the end of life for those products.

Right now, Cabinet is focused on sustainable innovation in our products and how we transport them to you. In the coming months, we will look to systematically improve sustainability across our entire supply chain including our manufacturers.

A sustainable healthcare company provides the highest quality health care products and services to make customers better and improve the environment. We are excited to do our part!

We endeavor to be radically transparent. Cabinet is a certified B-Corp who regularly measures and improves its environmental and social impact. We’re imperfect, with a plan. Cabinet is a certified B-Corp, inventors of sustainable packaging for medicine, both plastic and carbon neautral, and systematically improving our supply chain everyday.
